Characterise and track your designs with detailed information on parts, versioning and construct information.
The Construct Card
The construct card, visible in your construct collection, allows for a quick overview of vital information and actions.
Construct Information page
Clicking on info on any construct card will direct you to the construct information page. Here you can see more detailed information about your construct.
The info tab
The first tab on this page (Info) contains detailed information about your construct.
Overview (Grey box) | A field containing the name and an optional description of your construct. |
Part ID | The unique identification code for the construct. |
Name | The name of your construct. When uploading a GB of a construct it will be taken automatically from the data within. |
Alternative Name | Field for alternative naming of your construct. |
Version | A user generated field for tracking the version of a construct variant. |
Division | A user generated field for characterising the file type i.e. primate sequence, high-throughput genomic sequence. |
Parent Sequence | If the construct has been duplicated, the link to the parent construct will be shown here. |
Collection | The special collection to which a construct belongs e.g. pSEVA. |
Part Status | Confirmation of a validated construct. |
Public | Confirmation of a publicly available construct. |
Certified | Confirmation of an in-vivo verified construct. |
Length | The length in base pairs of the construct. |
Used In | Automatically generated information regarding the number of constructs the biomodule has been used in. |
Author | An automated record of the author of the construct. |
Creation date | An automated time stamp of the creation date of the construct. |
Latest update | An automated time stamp recording the last edit made to the construct. |
Quick actions (sidebar) | Tools to view and edit the construct, edit the construct information page, synthesize, duplicate, unlink from the parent construct and delete the construct. |
Collaborators | A visual overview of the collaborators whom have been invited to work on the construct. Click the share icon to invite team mates to collaborate. |
Author | A visual overview of the author of the construct. |
Biomodules tab
The biomodules tab shows a break down of the biomodules contained within the construct. The left side bar contains the list of biomodule elements while the centre window contains detailed biomodule information.
For a breakdown of the biomodule information table see the understanding biomodule information article.
History tab
The history tab shows a timeline of actions and edits that have been made to the construct or the biomodules contained within.
